What is your happy place?I love to watch the sunrise or the sunset. The bright colors, the vibrancy, the calm it brings-all of that amazes and calms me.It brings an instant smile to my face. Watching a rainbow come out of rain also makes my heart warm. Watching my children , who are now teens, sleep makes me happy.
The world is so busy and fast paced, that we forget to find our happy place. We look at the bad,try to change it, try to save the world, drive our kids to therapy, get our kids to sports, try to clean the house, cook dinner, help with homework, work, buy gifts, and do mounds of paperwork. That is all in one day!
My happy place of late is Forever Friends. Writing this book and watching it come to life has warmed my heart. I am not doing either thing for my self-gratification. My goal is to help at least one child with hearin gloss know s/he IS special. If I do that, life is good.
Take a moment at the begining and end of each day and think of your happy place. If you pray, pray. If you visualize, visualize. If you like aromas, put on candles. Whatever works for you, make it work. Life is far too short to be too busy to appreciate the good! Go, seize the day and let me know what your happy place is!
