Here I go, with yet another amazing experience!!! Couple of months ago on April 6th, I went to an Lake Windfall Red carpet event (http://read.ideafnews.com/2013/04/national-kick-off-red-carpet-lake-windfall-movie-premiere-at-clearwater-florida/) for my first time ever in my life! There are too many words to describe my unbelievable experiences but to list a few: it was incredible, awesome and amazing!!! I never thought I would be attending the such thing because it took me a lot of efforts to go to the event. You don't just get up and go to places without a thorough plan. I had to find a babysitter, shop for my new dress, maintain my vehicle, make hotel reservations with the event being 2 and half hours away from my dwelling and devoted so much of my time. It was worth my trip! It was priceless! I am looking forward to attending more red carpet events in the future! I'll start with my experiences. As I made my entrance at the door, there was a beautiful red carpet laying on the ground. It felt so good to step down with my beautiful lime green dress and as I stepped up on the stage, there was a paparazzi and crowd staring at me as I walk along. Then there was this lady on the microphone asking me questions as pictures were being taken and I was videotaped. Nervous, overwhelmed but excited at the same time! As I walk away, there's beautiful women in their dresses and handsome men dressed so sharp. I loved it already as I meet people and liked the attention. I have always been very outgoing and confident. I got to meet some old friends, all the actors and directors. I also made new friends and I was able to pass out my business cards for Deaf Insight. Www.deaf-insight.com ;) Deaf world is so small so I take every chances I get when I am in the deaf communities!
Secondly, as we all walked into the building, we were all entertained with refreshments and seated and watched the all new movie called Lake Windfall (Rustic Latern Films). I was extremely mind blown with the movie! I have not seen any movies that casted both hearing and draf actors that had such an amazing qualities and acting skills. I felt so absorbed into the movie and made me realize the survival in the real life that could happen to me. I could watch the movie for the million times. Its that good!
