So Wednesday I got back from a few days at my parents place, which is in Danish a bit out in the country side. I am kinda both country and city girl. I like to recharge in the country for a few days, without electronics, too many people chattering around, shops, cars driving about and some blaring either horns or playing loudly music that you can feel through the air.
On the other hand, it is nice to take a stroll in a city like Copenhagen on a good sunny day, walk by the old ponds in there or stroll through the warehouses just to have a look at the latest new clothes or book. Or find my favorite café place, enjoying a late.
So where do you live then? Even though I live like half an hour by train from Copenhagen, there is a forest nearby and I can easily take the bike to the beach / ocean side, if I want. But I would say there is nothing that beats Mother Nature at all. The peace and quiet solace, that makes you reconnect with yourself and nature as well. And being hard of hearing, at times only reinforce that feeling, if you pay attention to your surroundings while walking in the nature.
So I wish you a happy Sunday wherever you are…
