These days the kids are having fall holiday and some celebrate the Danish version of America’s Halloween. I have to admit I haven’t really tried it here at home, I have seen friends doing the pumpkin decorations and such. Even the fair Tivoli right in center of Copenhagen do Halloween theme all week. They will have the whole place decorated with Halloween decorations such as scary dolls. This would be one of many celebrations some are taking from USA to use here in Denmark.
We have something similar to Halloween with dress up and such but it's celebrated in February. This is where you celebrate Mardi Grass that is where kids walks around and sing the treat song. Well Halloween is now celebrated this week as school are closed for the week which just are ending this Sunday and some vise shopping places and Tivoli thought it was a good time to do it this time instead of November, where USA celebrates it.
Usually I will go in there, not this year as I don’t have a year card and it is a bit pricey to go in there. However here a few photos from my earlier visit on Halloween time in there… How are you celebrating your Halloween in USA?? Do you do dress up and such still, go out with friends and family with the kids??? Happy Halloween…
