Awhile back while zapping between the too many channels on TV, I suddenly found the series "Switched at birth" was on and I've been watching it every since. I have to admit, the series does tackle the life as a deaf person quite well. Both the moments where you just want to hide in the corner or where you smile at the situation, because maybe you have tried it yourself once in your life.
I have even tried to see if I could read the signs and sadly it does goes too fast for me at times plus it is in English too. This is another thing I've learned about sign languages, even though there will be signs you can use all over the world, the signs have their own language in their country too.
Overall, I think the series does a great job portraying the life not only of the deafs, but also those around them. Do you think the series portraits is realistic or.... ?
