Creativity is a process that goes beyond language. Here is where the rules can be broken, twisted, or bent for entertainment, spiritual or education. Creativity knows no boundaries. Even the least creative person still has creativity. A simple nail painting process spews creativity.
My daughter did the nails before I left for Gallaudet. She wanted the pink and the purple. Sometimes we become the muses for those who create. We are also creativity itself when we serve as muses.
Do we allow our 'abnormal' differences stand out or do we hide it? Do we allow for creativity by limitations or do we challenge our limitations?
Be creative, challenge yourself, let your difference be the creativity.
To Be Whole
Currently I am an ASL teacher at a local college and at an high school. I received my Masters in Sign Language Education from Gallaudet University. At home, I am an activist within the community, Northwest Indiana. My son is in first grade and my daughter goes to E.C.L.I.P.S.E. ASL Preschool. Change begins with you and change is effective with a team.
